Google RSS Reader?

Okay, I’m going to start doing what I really should be doing right now; actually, I’m going to start doing stuff I should have been doing a week ago. But I thought I’d post a link to my latest distraction, Google RSS Reader. I stumbled across this via boing-boing.

This is something that will probably figure into my teaching sooner than later. With RSS feeds becoming as easy and as flexible as this, I don’t think there’s much excuse to not do it anymore….

  1. Hey, thanks for the link! I’m right with you as far as RSS feeds go. I’ve been holding out for a long time because I couldn’t quite figure out how to tweak everything just the way I like it. I might have to give the Google version a try, though.

  2. I tried Google’s RSS reader, but it doesn’t have the features, usability, or performance to compete with free standalone RSS readers like RSS Bandit or Sharpreader. GMail’s great, but Google’s RSS reader doesn’t have the same level of quality.
