Actually, I am posting this here because I can imagine including a link to this for 516 in a section of the class on “viral video” that is still very much in the loose development stages. But really, it’s also because everyone deserves some cartoons.

Hey did you see you could download the file already encoded for an iPod? I’ve got WhatsOperaDoc.mp4 now, and file plays nicely on the computer too. Interestingly enough, the “normal” download to play on a Mac or PC is done through Google’s own video program–very weird. So they’ll prevent you getting the file one way for your computer, but getting it for the iPod is just fine. Don’t make no sense. But now I’m going to see how many of these others I can get …
